Monday was another busy day with 9 groups heading up to Pattavia. There had been some heavy overnight rain but the course was still in excellent condition. The greens have always had a reputation of being fast and difficult and today was no different which makes course management crucial at Pattavia. If you can leave the ball below the hole and give yourself an uphill putt then your chance of success has greatly increased.
Tim Parsons managed the course well and his score of 38 equated to a 9 over par round which was a great achievement. Tim headed Flight `A` with runner-up being William Browne who trailed Tim by 1 shot. The winner of Flight `B` was Bob Stark who just edged out Dave Boyes.
On the 2nd of March we will be holding a Memorial Day for Phil Davies at Bang Pakong. The `sign up` has been posted on the Line Group. Phil was a true legend of the Pattaya golf scene and is sadly missed.
