Magic Golf Society Report. On Friday the 6th of January we held our Golfer of the Year outing at Greenwood.

The competition is very kindly sponsored by Scottie Smith / PUMPUI RESTAURANT

We had 9 groups playing courses A and B off the white tees.

Greenwood was in good shape, and even though it was very busy everything ran very smoothly.

Playing many holes into a stiff breeze made scoring a tad more difficult than usual, with only two golfers playing to their handicap or better.

The best score on the day came from Jeff North with 37 points, followed by Gerry Conway with 36 points.

We had only one winner in the 2s club, and that was Peter Nixon.

The best gross score on the day came from young James Trant shooting a level par round of 72 off a +4 handicap.

Dean McCarry presented Tony Oakes with his 3000 baht voucher as winner of the January attendance at outings draw.

Tony very kindly rang the bell on receipt of his prize

Next months golfer of the year will be at Khao Khoew on the 10th of March.
