The conditions were exceptional with generous fairways and solid green made scoring difficult for most of the links players.
Today’s greenjacket winner was the consistent Pete Shaw taking the prize with an impressive 37 points on a countback after double bogeying the first 4 holes .
Second on that countback was Grant Pride also on 37 points .
Third with 35 was the mercurial Jim Muccino.
Fourth was the internal traveller Dave Barto with 32 points.
Fifth prize was the lucky dip of all non winners being Slotty MacGyver
