Tenzing Pacific Services. The last Friday of the month was the always popular Tenzing Day this time played at the very tricky St Andrews.

We had 8 groups of fine golfers doing battle to win a spot in the end of season Race to Phuket matchplay event.

We played the white tees at 6410 yards in very hot conditions on one of the toughest courses around.

A Big thanks to Craig and his Tenzing team for another fantastic day.

It was a very low scoring day and not a single player broke par which surprised everyone. congratulations to Nigel Henson with 35pts winning the 6th event of the season and his place in the matchplay final in January.

2nd place went to Stuart Day with 34pts just missing out by 1 shot but still a great round and a tough day.

3rd place was the popular Geordie Mark Johnstone with 32pts winning a 3 way countback.

4th place was the sponsor himself Craig

McAvinue also with 32pts. Craig had an unbelievable 21pts on his front 9 but a few bad breaks saw his chances slip away.

5th place went to Glenn Ellsworth who also started strong but finished also with 32pts.

6th place was Joe Dourley with a solid 31pts which normally completes the podium places but as there were No 2s I added another place which went to Jordan Brown with 30pts on a countback.
