Challenging Treasure Hill

We headed out with two groups to Treasure Hill, greeted by a pleasantly overcast sky and mild temperatures. The course was in excellent condition, though—as always—it proved a tough challenge.

Despite the difficulty, spirits were high and the competition inspiring.

Lee Perriam was in fine form, managing his game with calm precision to take the win with 38 Stableford points. Mark Bromwich, showing signs of rising form, gave chase but settled for second with 35 points.

John Pegrum had a rough day and took home the spoon.

Near pins went to Lee Perriam and Sam Jeffery (twice!).

🏌️ Mark Bromwich in form at Pattavia

Thursday’s venue was Pattavia, where we played with three groups under another beautiful sky—clouds drifting by and a cool breeze keeping things comfortable. The course was in fair condition, and the competition was fierce.

Mark Bromwich, determined to build on his Tuesday performance, came out swinging. He led after the front nine and held off a strong challenge from Allan Cassin, who closed the gap but couldn’t quite overtake him.

Mark claimed victory with 39 Stableford points, while Allan followed closely with 38 points.

The spoon battle was intense, with Steve Sturley, Willem Lasonder, and Lonnie Johnson all in contention. In the end, Steve missed out by just one point and took the spoon.

Near pins were claimed by Steve Sturley, John Pegrum, Allan Cassin, and Willem Lasonder.
