The Olde Rogues took 16 players up to Pattavia for the 1st match of September. Initially there was some confusion as there had been a double booking with another society but we were given the heads up to tee off earlier than our allotted time.
It was another hot day with little to no breeze to cool things down. There was plenty of run on the fairways however although the greens were somewhat slower than we are used to, they were still difficult to putt on.
As for the golf, it was Pattavia`s resident golfer, Kevin LaBar who headed the field with 38 points which included a birdie at the 18th which was enough to defeat Ian Duers on a count back. In 3rd place was Billy Buchanan with 37 followed by 4 golfers on 33 with George Wilson taking 4th place on a count back.
