The golf course was in fantastic condition and they looked after us very well getting us away earlier than expected.
We played the yellow tees which are longer than the whites for some reason at Khao Kheow at 6300 yards but in soft conditions was playing much longer.
Out of the whole 25 player field nobody managed to break par which shows the difficulty of it.
Today’s winner was my playing partner and good friend Mark Johnstone with 36pts.
Marks not the longest hitter but used his handicap well and sunk some great putts to be today’s clear champion by 3 shots.
2nd place was myself with 33pts getting off to a poor start but grinding out a decent score round a tough golf golf course.
3rd place was that man again the Big Kiwi Kev Stout with another solid performance of 32pts and another near pin.
4th place went to Steve Elles with 30pts shooting 11pts on the front but a fantastic 19pts on the back 9 to get in the prizes.
The last spot went new comer Mike Keir also with 30pts to claim his 1st podium finish.
