We started the week with a hopeful trip to Royal Lakeside after a massive storm on Sunday leaving everywhere severely flooded.
Royal Lakeside informed us the course was open but extremely wet in places and no carts were aloud on the fairways.
The golf addicts we are took the challenge and went to play golf.
We played the white tees as always at 6250 yards but it played much longer.
The greens were still in great shape and ran as quick as ever.
Out of the 16 man field only two players managed to break par and they were both in my group so I got to witness some good golf even if I played terrible.
Congratulations to Jordan Brown with another victory scoring 38pts and an unbelievable front 9 of 23pts.
Great round mate.
2nd place went to Donal Coffey with 37pts pushing Jordan all the way down the 18th
If your putter had got hot could have easily been 40+ points.
3rd place was Martin Evans with 35pts beating Erik Lundman and a countback with 20pts on his back 9.
1st – Jordan Brown – 38pts (14)
