The end of the week competition was at the very quirky Silky Oak.
As always the course was in good shape and is always an interesting round of golf with lots of different shots involved.
We played the white tees at 6250 yards in decent weather conditions so was expecting some decent scores.
Today’s winner always plays well at the Rayong courses and has a bit of home advantage as he’s down here a lot with his brothers. Congratulations to John McGee with 37pts winning on a countback with 19pts on his back 9 and also picking up a near pin as well.
2nd place went to new comer John Lowe also with 37pts just missing out with 17pts on his back 9.
3rd place went to Ryan Joyce with 36pts and still so close to that first win but his handicap has dropped 3 shots on this trip so playing well mate.
