We had 8 groups on the timesheet for the competition.
We played courses North & West
On arrival at Plutaluang we were met with the problem of a shortage of caddies and carts.
It was a national holiday and they had over booked the course.
We did however get to tee off 40 minutes after our allotted time, with 2 golfers to a cart with one caddy.
When we did tee off it ran pretty smoothly under the circumstances, and we did complete the round in under 5 hours.
The course was in pretty good shape and scoring was good on the day. Weather conditions were also very favorable for golf.
I played in the group with the GOTY leaders, and even though Tony Oakes had a shocking day by his standards, he still managed to pip Ric Batt for the 2025 GOTY title.
The winner of the December GOTY outing was Tony Glazebrook with a great score of 39 points off a 11 handicap
We had only one 2s winner on the day and that was Brendan McDaid who recorded two 2s.
