The Links Golf Society made the trip out to the challenging Treasure Hill Golf Course, known for its tight fairways, undulating greens, and strategic layout. Conditions on the day were excellent, with clear skies and a light breeze helping to keep things comfortable for the players.
The course was presented in good shape, considering the heavy early rain today with fairways offering no run and the greens running true but with their usual tricky breaks. As always at Treasure Hill, course management was key, and those who kept the ball in play were rewarded with solid scoring opportunities.
Standout performances included a few impressive rounds where accuracy off the tee made the difference. The par-3s proved testing, with several pins tucked in difficult positions, while the longer par-4s demanded careful shot placement.
Today’s greenjacket winner with an impressive 40 points by Graham Priest.
