Playing off the white tees the course played very generously for the Majority of the field with a countback deciding the top 2 places of 43 points and all prize winners all bettering there handicaps today
Pleasant valley once again was presented in immaculate condition and the scoring represented the courses condition.
Today’s greenjacket winner was once a regular links player , Soren Hansen with a sensational 43 points playing of 18 taking first prize on a countback from Lachlan Fenech .
Third was George Mueller with 38 ahead of Steve Elles with 37 in fourth and Gorgeous George Briffa finished with 36 points for for fifth place .
The near pin was a romp for Gerry Cooke who took 3 near pins and allowing Jim Muccino taking the other one.
Gerry has now got his irons sorted ,he only has to work out the putting to complete his game
