The end of the golfing week sees the links crew travel to the popular Eastern Star Golf complex designed by Robert Trent Jones junior in 1991 for there friday fix .
As per usual the course is presented in excellent condition with tricky greens if you put the ball on the wrong side of the hole and generous run off the fairways to maximise tee shots .
Today’s Greenjacket winner was the West Midlands and Solihul local , georgeous George Briffa with 35 points from the consistent Ted Senior with 33 and close by was Huw Phillips with 32 and the travelling Dave Hayes finished with 31.
Fifth was slamming Sam Scarfo all the way from Liverpool Australia with 30 points and Scott Brown with 29 points was sixth.
Only 3 par 3 were hit and other par 3 going into the lucky dip
