The start of the week sees the long trek up the highway to Bangpakong Riverside golf course for the links crew .
After some confusion we eventually started on our regular tee time of 10 30 am .
Bangpakong as per usual was in excellent condition with manicured fairways and greens making the course look a lot better than after the rains that we have been getting
Today’s greenjacket recipient was a newcomer to links Geoff Hannah who was the only player to better there handicap with 39 points, playing off 27 handicap makes the results look a lot better . Second was Mick Dunn with 35 points collecting second on a countback from the ever consistent Rocky Jones also on 35 points . Fourth was Rich Moore on 34 1 shot ahead of Alex Lammes who finished with 33 . All good scores around a tricky layout.
Gerner Lykke and Alan Humphries picked up the near pins and the nearest in 3 at the last par 5 was Graham Priest.
