Tony wins easily at Eastern Star
The beginning of the week was s quick drive up the highway to Eastern Star Country Club & Resort for our Monday fix.
A crew of 20 golfers playing off the white markers at 6200 yards , started the round in perfect golfing conditions with a gentle wind helping to keep the temperature down .
Eastern star golf course while being tricky in some holes was no trouble for the greenjacket winner today as Tony Molan toyed with the field to record 38 points to be the only player to master there handicap .
Second was the ever reliable Selwyn Yates with 34 points and third was Peter Scott with 33 points taking third on a countback from Jim Smyth also on 33 points .
As always at eastern star was the third hole near pin . It was won today by Jim Chapman with a Lazer 6 iron to a difficult pin placement.
