Another golfing week begins and we made the hour journey up towards Bangkok to play the incredible Royal Lakeside.
This golf course is immaculate all year round and today it was as good as I’ve seen it with pristine fairways, slick greens and the club house is awesome.
We played the white tees at 6300 yards in bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky.
Today was my day to shine and this course gave me my first hole in 1 last year and now my lowest ever round shooting 73 but lipping a birdie putt out on 18 for a 72.
This gave me 44pts and a 7 shot victory
Back down to 7.8 now and hopefully can get back to my lowest handicap of 6 soon.
2nd place went to Tom Britt with 37pts.
Tom was playing his 14th round on the spin which is very impressive. Good to see you and thanks for dropping in.
3rd was the inform scouser and great lad Adam Barton with 36pts and if his putter would have got going could have been a whole lot more.
4th was the smiling assassin Vito Cirelli with a solid 35pts, good to see you back in town mate.
5th was the man of the moment Chris Barker who’s fine form continues with 34pts.
We welcomed 5 more players today who all loved Royal Lakeside, thanks for choosing us to play your golf with.
