MOX WINS GREEN JACKET ON LAST DAY WITH LINKS
Grey clouds threatened all day without punishing the links crew today . Rain did not fall until there way home,with the cloud cover keeping the humidity and temperature down to a manageable level .
Usually a long course of 7111yards from the back played ,this Robert McFarland designed course provided no problems from the white pegs of 6150 yards for the green jacket winner who toyed with the course today to finish with an incredible 42 points . Steve Moxey demolished the field by 5 Stableford points today to finish with 42 points , second was the ever consistent Selwyn Yates with a great 37 points off 6 . Third was Phil Corbin with 35 and Kev Labar finishing fourth with 34
Paul Tudor from the Golf Hub will take all the credit for Moxey’s consistent form over the last few months.
