BEN HERBERT WINS GREENJACKET IN THE WET
With the majority of the links crew playing off the white markers today ,Royal Lakeside presented a very wet golf course even though the round was played without rain ,the course was extremely wet and no carts were allowed on the course proper.
Heavy overnight rain prevented carts on the course and also prevented any advantage with no run on the fairways today.
Ben Herbert was the only player to break his handicap with an exceptional 37 points off his 10 handicap.
Second was Lou Russo with 32 ahead of Jamie Booterbaugh with 30 . The consistent Steve Moxey was fourth with 29
Always remember not to wear denim clothing at Royal Lakeside, apparantly it is frowned upon
