Even with the Mondays cored greens didn’t stop the links clan from travelling to Eastern Star Golf Course today to get there weekly game .
The green even though cored were in an unbelievable condition considering the work was done on Monday with the ground keepers doing a great job to keep the course playable .
Tough scoring was the order of the day with only 1 person breaking there handicap and that was the ever consistent Gary Lawson with 37 points followed by Jim Muccino with 35 and filling the podium was Petur Peterson with 34 points .
A heart felt thanks to all the golfers who have supported the links golf society over the last few months since the passing of our Links legend.
