The week started at Pleasant Valley for the links crew. They were met with overcast and very pleasant conditions ,probably the best golfing conditions available in Thailand . The greens were very tricky and the pin placements made scoring difficult and the scores reflected the difficulty that pleasant valley provides.
The greenjacket winner today was the ever consistent Selwyn Yates off 6 with 35 points ,winning by⁸ 2 strokes from the newby Ben Holley with 33 . Third place went to the evergreen Phil Corbin with 32 points . Fourth and Fifth was Steve Moxey with 31 on a countback from Grant Pride also on 31.
The Bucket of beers went to Selwyn as well . A 6 iron to 2 feet on a 172 yard 5 th hole . An incredible shot.
