The start of the low season sees the links golf society travel to the Sir Nick Faldo designed course of Emerald.sometimes emerald can be scratchy around the edges but generally the greens are tricky and true.
The course played tough today with only 3 Birdies were given up and only 1 player matching his handicap.
Today’s greenjacket winner for th first time was Con Mantibus with a solid 36 points.
Second was the steady Lou Russo with his golf chain back in his possession with 33 points .
A triple countback was needed to separate the golfers with Georgeous George Briffa winning third from the South African brand ambassador Steve Newland fourth and Masa finishing fifth and sixth was Mitch Matte .
