It was the first Friday of the month so that means medal day at Pattavia.
We had a great turn out today with 10 groups all trying to get in the winners circle. The course was in great shape and the greens slick as usual.
Another tight affair unfolded today but the eventual winner was the 114 year old sneaky American Chris Barker who has been back in near pin form and has now got back to winning ways…. Congratulations pal great score with a nett 69.
2nd place went to that man again Colm Lawlor with a score of 70 and had he not choked on the 15th making a treble bogey the medal would have been his!
3rd place was a 4 way tie all on 71 but Maurice Quaid beat the old deviant Andy Kelleher on a count back and he beat Adam Barton who beat Soren Hansen.
Some great golf around a tough track
Thanks to Pat Lavin for taking the Reins while i had a day off much appreciated.
