Links golf society today ventured out to the beautiful Phoenix Gold Country Club.
The golfers today were greeted to a scorching hot day with the later tee time not helping the cause.
Playing off the white markers at 6500 yards provided a formidable challenge with only 2 golfers breaking there handicap today .
Today’s winner with 2 knee operations in the last month was Steve Moxey (the break was worth it )with 38 points followed closely with 37 points was Mark Bishop and Selwyn Yates filling the podium with 34 points.
Phoenix today looked like it needs some rain to bring the course back to its pristine best .
