Tenzing Pacific Services The last Friday of the month was the 5th Tenzing day of the year and another great turn out at Burapha Golf Club.

Thanks to Craig McAvinue and his team for the continued support. This event has been running for 18 months now and is still very popular with everyone.

Thanks to Burapha for looking after us so well and presenting the course in fantastic condition. The facilities here are up there with the best around.

We played the white tees on C & D at 6200 yards although the tees on C were pushed forward making this 9 great for scoring.

There were 9 groups today battling it out for a place in the race to Phuket Final at the end of the year as well as some great cash prizes.

The competition couldn’t have been any tighter with the top 6 only being separated by 3 shots and the winner on a count back.

Today’s winner is heading back offshore this weekend so a fantastic way to end his trip. Congratulations to Adam Barton with a great score of 41pts winning on countback

2nd place went Erik Lundman also with 41pts. Erik had an unbelievable 7 birdies on C course but unfortunately that was the shorter 9 meaning he lost on a count back

3rd place was Mehmet Yusuf with 40pts.

Mehmet has been putting the hours in on the simulator and having lessons so it’s great to see it paying off for him.

4th place went to the inform school teacher Steve Wiggins with 39pts and unfortunately missed a putt on the last to break 90 for the first time. It’s coming mate keep doing what you’re doing.

5th place went Bjarni Hardarson also with an impressive 39pts just missing out on a countback to Steve.

The last spot went to the Captain John McGee with 38pts. John scored very well just a few holes got away from him or he could have won the day.

Thanks to Pat Lavin & Jordan Brown for your help today and also to all the staff at the Pattaya Sports Hub for all the hard work and finally Tony with the food making sure everyone is fed and happy.
