Regular wins greenjacket – The Links Golf Society.

The friday fixture saw the links crew end the week traveling up the highway to the popular Pattana Golf Course

Yet again the greens were heavily watered to protect them from the dry weather than we has prevalent in Pattaya . The courses are in desperate need of some rainfall.

Off the white tees today presented no problems for the perennial prize money collector with Steve Elles picking up his third greenjacket to go with plenty of seconds and thirds while on holiday.

Steve collected 38 points today ,a great score on a particularly difficult golf course. It was made a little easier with prefered lies but non the less a very good score under the conditions. Second was the popular David Dunne with 35 points from a countback for third and fourth between Lachlan Fenech on 31 and Gorgeous George Briffa with Lachlan taking the third prize . Andy Kelleher collected the fifth prize with 30 points.It was nice for Gerry Cooke to allow other people to win the neat pins today and we had 4 seperate winners which has become a rarity lately
