The course was in the best shape it’s been for a while and lots of work still going on.
We played the white tees at 6250 yards in pretty windy conditions so distance control was going to be key today.
We had 4 new players today glad you enjoyed it and thanks for choosing us to play your golf with.
It was a very tight competition with 3 shots separating the prizes and for the first time in ages there were no 40pts around this usually high scoring course.
Today’s winner was the pocket rocket Stan Fenton with 39pts winning by a single shot
Great round mate.
2nd place went to my playing partner Mark Johnstone who was flying on the front 9 with 23pts but his putter went cold on the back 9 and he finished with 38pts.
3rd place was Rocky Jones with 37pts shooting 2 under par off his plus one handicap. Another impressive round mate and good luck in your next event.
The last spot went to George Foston with 36pts beating me on a countback with 21pts on his back 9. A great way to sign off his first ever visit to Thailand. Safe travels home it’s been a great few weeks.
