The final Tenzing event of the year was held at Mountain Shadow, we had a fantastic turn out of 46 players all fighting for the last spot in the Race to Phuket matchplay knockout.
I’d like to thanks Mountain Shadow for accommodating such a large group at short notice and for getting us away early.
The course was in the best shape I’ve seen it and it’s always a tough test of golf where you need to be accurate and the putter working well and these sloping greens.
Massive thanks to Craig and his Tenzing team for another very successful year.

It was such a great way to end this event with the tightest competition we’ve had.
We payed 8 places and only 2 shots separated 1st to 8th.
We played the white tees at just under 6000 yards but not a single player out of this huge field managed to break par.
Which shows how tough this golf course is.
It maybe short but you can’t over power it.
Today’s winner arrived late on Tuesday night had zero sleep, turned up for golf with new clubs and still played so well.
Congratulations to my great friend Paul Gill with 36pts winning a 3 way countback.
2nd place was Jim Lawrence also with 36pts missing out on one of the tightest countback ever but also winning a near pin and in the 2s pot.
3rd place went to the ever consistent Martin Evans again with 36pts.
There were 7 players in the 2s pot and a very close hole in one from Ryan Joyce.
