The last Friday of the month means it’s another Tenzing day this time hosted at the fantastic Burapha Golf Club.
We had 8 groups battling it out for their place in the Matchplay final and it was an extremely close competition.
The course was in good shape although an extremely big storm the night before left a few bunkers unplayable but it’s a great set up at Burapha
We played the white tees at 6300 yards in extremely hot weather conditions but that didn’t stop some great golf.
Today’s winner has been playing with us since he started working remotely last month and has been a great lad to have around. Congratulations to Mikey Hamilton with 39pts securing his place in the Matchplay final at the end of the year.
2nd place went to Mark Haylock with 37pts. Marks just arrived back in town from Australia and straight into great fine form.
3rd place went to Martin Evans with 36pts and his fine form continues with another podium place.
4th place went to Rich Moore also with 36pts just missing out to Martin on a countback.
5th place was the always consistent Kevin Labar with a solid 35pts winning a 3 way countback.
6th place went to the best 17 handicaper in town Jordan Brown also with 35pts just missing out on a countback to Kevin.
7th place was new comer Calin Young also with 35pts.
The last spot went to the big hitting American Shane Thomason with 34pts winning a 3 way countback.
