The last Friday of the month was our first 4 man scramble sponsored by Avani Resorts
and Tenzing Pacific Services.
We had a very good turn out of 48 golfers at Eastern Star who again looked after us extremely well and the course was in great shape as usual.
The plan was to play 6 tee shots from the blues,whites and red tees but that changed to whites, yellows and reds as the course had no blue markers out.
This meant the scoring would be a little bit easier and there were some great scores to come in and it was unbelievably tight separating the top 3 teams.
The winning team was Gary Casson,
Tony Danford, Ron Chamberlain & Stan Fenton with a fantastic score of 59.1
The runners up were Pat Lavin,Paul Gill
Jordan Brown & Rana Gurnam with 59.2
The 3rd place team was John McGee,
Tony Browne,Andrew Purdue & John Reps
