Fridays game saw us make the short journey to Hermes Golf course and 13 players take on this tricky layout, it’s no real surprise nobody beat their handicap today.
As always we played the white tees at just over 6000 yards, not the longest course but accuracy is important here and you have to plot your way around.
A threat of rain most of the day with looming clouds and rumbles of thunder, but thankfully we managed to get onto the last hole before it eventually did rain.
Today’s winner has been knocking on the door all week, finally getting the job done today, well done to Rich Buch with 35pts, great round and see you again soon mate.
2nd and 3rd place today both with 33pts had to be separated on a CB, in 2nd was Guy Stewart with a solid 18pts on his back 9, good going at Hermes.
3rd place today was the reformed character Tom Handley, kept off the beers and managed 33pts, good round mate, enjoyed playing with you again.
