The 3rd outing of the week took us to Bangpra Golf club where we were looked after very well and able to tee off 30 minutes ahead of time.
It was another cloudy day but pretty windy at times so that would add to the difficulty of this course as well as the long par 3s,
Slick Greens and tough rough. This course really is a beast and you need your A game to stand a chance.
We had 25 players competing today off the white tees at 6500 yards and it’s not a 40pt golf course so anywhere around your handicap will be a great score.
It was a very tight competition today with non of the field breaking par but it was the Big fellow from Australia John Lowe who claimed the win with 36pts winning on a countback with 19pts on his back 9.
2nd place was Gordon Smith also with 36pts narrowly missing out to John on a countback with 17pts on his back 9.
3rd place went to new comer Jake Crear with 35pts also picking up a near pin so a successful day for you mate.
4th place was Happy Joe Dourley with a solid 34pts. Well played Joe and thanks for your help with near pins.
The last spot was the Lovely Emm Maume with 33pts on her last day with us. Thanks for the support Emm you will be missed safe travels and we’ll see you in February.
