It was an perfect day for golf as we travelled up to Greenwood Golf Club for our midweek fix.
The course was in really good shape with plenty of run as well which was needed playing off the white tees at 6500 yards.
We played A&C 9s and it’s the best I’ve seen it for some time.
There is still plenty of work going on with the new club house but nice to see them making big improvements.
Again we had more new comers and a few old faces return and it was one of the old faces that stole the show.
Today’s winner loves to moan about Greenwood being to long off the white tees but that man with the million dollar smile Chris Barker shot 39pts and played one of the best rounds of his life so hopefully now he’s proved himself wrong my ears will get a rest! Great round Mr B
2nd place was my playing partner Livio Marone with 37pts and would win on any other day. He started steady with 16pts but shot level par on the back 9 with 21pts and was 10 inches from a hole in 1 so a good day all in all for Mr Consistent.
3rd place to John McGee with 34pts who bounced back from a slight dip in form to keep up his podium finishes.
The last spot went to Terry Bell with 33pts on his final outing with us. Safe travels mate see you next time.
