We ended the week with a short trip down
to the newly renovated St Andrews 2000.
It was our first time playing here since it reopened and I was quite impressed with what had been done.
The course was in good shape and it’s a fantastic layout so many challenging holes and the 2 par 6s make it good fun.
We played the white tees at 6400 yards but we still had some great scores in today.
Today’s winner is a fantastic friend of mine and has been such a great help with the golf over the last 5 months.
Congratulations to Pat Lavin with an incredible 41pts to secure a 2 shot victory.
2nd place went to Dave Heyes with 39pts
He was neck and neck with Pat stood on the 18th tee but choked on the par 5 finishing hole!
3rd place was Gary Craig with a great score of 38pts with 21pts on his back 9.
4th place was Farshad Sharifzadeh with 37pts shooting a 1 over gross 75 on this tricky par 74 course was some going.
5th place was the ever consistent Jason O Gorman also with 37pts just missing out on a count back.
The last spot went to myself with a solid 34pts which started well with 20pts on my front 9.
