On Thursday we took our monthly trip to Siam to play waterside. The course was in magnificent condition considering the rain we have had. Only downside was no carts on fairways but that was to be expected.
We were greeted with blue sky’s and bright sunshine which made a nice change.
I debated which tees to play as it was incredibly soft with zero run but we still played the whites at 6300 and it felt like 6700 yards and the scores reflected it.
Today’s winner was allowed to play the yellow tees as he is 84 years old and he took full advantage!
Congratulations to the very likeable Arthur Tattersall with 34pts winning by 5 shots
He did say he will wear a skirt at Green Valley today or take a 3 shot cut lol
2nd place was myself with 29pts which should have been a lot more but I could not get the pace of the greens all day. But a few birdies again kept me smiling.
The last spot was a 4 way countback won by the very cool Lorenzo Worthy with 28pts beating Adam,Tony and Ken.
