What a fantastic way to end the month with our 6th Tenzing Pacific Golf Day hosted at Pattavia Century Golf Club.
We had 65 players tee it up today all competing for over 30,000 baht of prizes and the chance to qualify for the Matchplay final and a trip to Phuket!
The Golf Course looked after us really well giving us a 2 tee start and accommodating the extra players we had.
We played the white tees as normal at 6600 yards in sunny but very windy conditions.
There were only 4 players who beat their handicaps out of this massive field which shows how difficult the conditions were.
Congratulations to Pearwa Parke one of 5 ladies in the field winning with 40pts and securing her place in the Matchplay final.
2nd place went to the very likeable Colm O Donovan with 39pts also qualifying for the final in February.
3rd place went to my playing partner and good friend Mark Johnstone with 38pts and with a bit more luck on the greens could have been todays winner.
4th place went to the big man from from Denmark Torben Lindgaard with 37pts
5th place went to Martin Patch with a very solid 36pts
6th – 8th place was all tied on 35pts and was separated on a count back
Which was myself with a level par back 9 20pts taking 6th spot.
