We opened the golfing week with a trip to Pattavia which if I’m being honest isn’t in the best shape at the minute the greens have been bad for some time now and don’t seem to be improving.
We had 8 groups today and lots of old faces back in town and good to catch up with so many people.
It was perfect conditions again a little bit cloudy and not to hot to take on the white tees at 6600.
I’ve said this a lot lately but it shows how difficult some of these golf courses are that nobody beat their handicap again and it was an incredibly close competition.
Today’s winner has just got back to Pattaya after a short trip home to Australia congratulations to John McGee with 36pts and a fantastic 20pts on his front 9.
2nd place was a new comer playing off a 1 handicap Farshad Sharifzadeh with 35pts shooting 74 gross on them greens was nothing short of a miracle.
3rd place was the little man with the big game Gary Casson also with 35pts just missing out on a count back.
4th was the big Welshman Mark Sullivan with 35pts who’s finding some great form now.
5th was Fun time Frankie McCardle with 34pts was a great laugh playing with you today and never a dull moment.
6th place was John Coetzee with 33pts edging a few players out on a count back.
The final spot went to the man who loves Pattavia Kevin Labar also with 33pts
