Pattaya Sports Hub Golf Society.

We opened our golfing week with a trip to the beautiful Khao Kheow country club, a Pete Dye designed golf course consisting of 27 holes, here is never a high scoring day and today was no exception with nobody beating their handicap even with a big field.

We had 10 groups teeing it up and at Khao Kheow the white and yellow tees are the other way around, we took on the A&B 9’s off the Yellow tees at 6400 yards, we had a little bit of rain mid round, but this passed by quickly and the course drained quickly. We paid out cash prizes for the top 7 and 4 near pins today.

Today was also Pat Lavins last round with us this trip, thanks for everything over the last 6 months mate, hope you managed to pack all the envelopes, clearly too emotional to be leaving as today was a rare day he didn’t collect a envelope, safe travels and we will see you soon

Today’s winner is a regular with us and struggled with form at the start of his trip but safe to say found his form now, well done to Lawrie McBride with 36pts winning on a back 6 CB, solid round mate.

2nd place just missing out on the win was Aussie Mark Haylock again with 36pts, nice to see you back with us and playing well.

3rd place was the in form Paul Sarkisian with 34pts getting 3rd on a CB, Paul a contender for Mr Consistent at the moment.

4th place also with 34pts just missing out on a CB was Phil Starrett, another solid round following Fridays pairs win, well done mate.

5th place went to John Doyle with 33pts, a blob on the 1st hole but kicked on to put another good round together.

6th place today and back in the prizes was Chris Barker with 32pts, shame we didn’t get a picture but Chris had a pool match to get too.

7th and final place today was Mel Meeds the best of the 30pt scores.
