The golfers are flocking to Pattaya this time of year and today we had lots more new comers travel to Bangpra with us.
The course as always was in great shape and the greens as slick as ever so with the wind blowing it was going to be a tough day off the white tees at 6500 yards
We had 25 golfers trying to tame the monkey course but as usual the golf course won with nobody beating their handicaps!
It was incredibly tight today with only 2 shots separating the top 6 players but just edging it was Paul Lanzeta with 34pts winning for the first time with us.
A very solid round with 18pts on the back 9
2nd place went to my old pal Colm O Donovan with 33pts winning a 3 way count back to secure runners up spot.
3rd place was the choker from Runcorn Pat Lavin with 33pts double bogeying the last to let victory slip through his fingers!
4th place went to new comer Alistair Henderson also with 33pts but a very strong finish on some tough closing holes
5th place went to Mark Johnstone with 32pts just beating Sully on a count back
The last spot went to the big Welshman Mark Sullivan “Sully” with 32pts.
