The course was in fantastic condition, it really was a pleasure to play here today and it’s no wonder it’s voted one of the best in Thailand and home to the Honda LPGA.
We played the white tees at 6,000 yards but it wasn’t easy with some thick rough and a few tucked Sunday pins and we only had 2 players scoring better than their handicap, we paid the top 7 golfers today.
Todays winner making it 3 wins from 3 this week was the one and only Phil Ashton with a fantastic level par 72 for 41pts, a real exhibition of golf with 1 bogey, 1 birdie and 16 pars, brilliant round mate, wish that putt on the 18th had dropped for your first under par round, it can’t be far away now!
2nd place went to Erik Lundman with a very good 37pts, nice to see you find a bit of form again mate, solid round.
3rd place was big Kev Stout with a very good 36pts, still finding my breath after a bear hug at the presentation, cheers big man, go steady tonight in Kevs town!
4th place today was Mark Haylock with 35pts getting 4th on a back 9 CB, steady round mate.
5th place just missing out on CB was another big kiwi Tony Wheeler with 35pts, always love a picture with you!
6th and 7th had to be separated on a back 6 CB with Adam Barton edging Mike Warren out both scoring 34pts.
