Magic Golf Society visited the magnificent Royal Lakeside Golf Club, and once again the course was presented in superb condition.
We teed off 20 minutes ahead of our scheduled tee time and enjoyed a smooth round with no delays, making for a very enjoyable day of golf.
Five groups played from the white tees in ideal golfing conditions, and the excellent weather was matched by some outstanding scoring.
The standout performance came from Peter Nixon, who produced a superb 40 Stableford points to claim the overall victory.
There were also two players who recorded a 2 during the round, with a special mention going to Leslie Kertesz, who achieved the rare feat of making his 2 on a par 4—a fantastic eagle!
Following the golf, Chef Nok treated everyone to another excellent buffet before we held the prize presentation.
