Our mid-week match took us to Mountain Shadow which is very much a bargain at 1250 baht all-in. Normally in low season as soon as you arrive you are given clearance to tee off but today was different. When we arrived, we were told our tee time had been pushed back but thankfully, due to some requests to the starter, we were told our 4 groups could start at the 10th which, at the end of the day, turned out to be a blessing.
The course was in very good condition and although the greens were very slow, it was still a most enjoyable day albeit played in very hot conditions. No golfer enjoyed it more than Tony Browne who played very consistently with equal 9`s of 19 points to edge out his good friend Nigel Henson by 1 point. Third place went to Billy Buchanan with 36 with Young Min Ko completing the podium with 35 edging out Glen Elsworth on a count back.
