MAGIC GOLF REPORT ⛳️ On Saturday, June 20th, we held Noodle’s Charity Scramble at Treasure Hill Golf Course.

Our monthly scramble is very kindly sponsored by Todd Givens, and we thank him once again for his continued support.

We had a fantastic turnout of 13 scramble teams (52 golfers) playing in ideal weather conditions on a golf course that was presented in excellent condition.

The format for the day was Rainbow Scramble, which added an extra strategic element as teams had to decide when to play from the Red, White and Blue tees.

One team, captained by Rexy, decided they would also play from the Yellow tees — only they know why!

Scoring was excellent, with the team of school teachers, led by Matt Hayden, taking top honours with a superb net score of 56.8.

We also had two Near Pin categories on each Par 3 — Handicap 0-18 and Handicap 19+.

After golf, everyone returned to Magic Bar where golfers were treated to a wonderful buffet prepared by Chef Nok and her staff.

Following the meal, we held the prize presentation.

We were delighted to have Noodle in attendance for the presentations. As you all know, Noodle sadly lost her beloved husband Lumpy during the week, and we were very pleased to see her during what is obviously an emotional time.

Lumpy was a great friend and supporter of Magic Bar and the Magic Golf Society. He will be sadly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him Our condolences are very much with Noodle, Max and the Russell family

We were proud to present Noodle with 19,600 Baht for her charity, raised through the generosity of the golfers who supported the event.

We hope to see you all again at next month’s Charity Scramble at Khao Kheow on July 24th. For those members who were unable to make the June event, we encourage you to join us in July. It’s always a fantastic fun day out, and you’ll be helping support a very worthwhile local charity.
