On Tuesday our venue was the Emerald. It was a nice sunny day with a strong breeze. So, it was not too hot. The condition of the course improves every time we play there. Greens also better as last month.
We had reasonable scores, but no extreme results. The course is for the most of us not easy. David Lea and Robert Charbonneau played for the win. We can see that Robert’s shape improves every week, but today was David just better and won with 38 stable ford points. Robert was second with 36 points.
After coming back in MyBar we celebrated the birthday of Mike Malott with a nice birthday cake.
The near pins were for Robert Charbonneau, Allan Cassin, Gary Lees and Keith Timmis.
On Thursday we went to Crystal Bay, where we the A&C loop played. We were very curious about the condition of the course. And our surprise was great. The condition of the course was good and the greens were also very good. Only the bunkers need more maintenance.
It was again a sunny day with a strong cool breeze. Very nice day to play.
Robert Charbonneau was the man of the day. Every week he is playing well and his handicap is going down. Today he played a very good round and won with 40 stable ford points. Neil Harvey was runner up with 37 points.
