Beautiful Pleasant Valley
On Tuesday we went to Pleasant Valley. It was a beautiful day with sun and a cool breeze. A pleasant day for playing golf. The course was in good condition and we were ready for an interesting competition.
Despite the good conditions is it still not an easy course. The distances gave us troubles and putting was also a challenge. However, Mike Malott was in good form today and played very consistent with long drives. Pity that the last hole was too difficult. He won with 37 stable ford points. Willem Lasonder could follow Mike long time, but fell back on the last few holes. He became runner up with 33 points.
Mark Bromwich secured the spoon.
The near pins were for Dave Smith, Maurice Paradis and Allan Cassin.
Bob Edward on fire at Plutaluang
On Thursday was our venue Plutaluang, where we the south & East loop played. It was again a beautiful day with a nice breeze. The course was in good condition, but some spots were dried out and hard as concrete.
Again today, we had an interesting competition. One man was not to stop and played the stars from heaven. Bob Edwards was the man of the day with 8 pars and 1 birdy. He won with 40 stable ford points. Steve Sturley could follow him but could just not beat him. He became the runner up with 39 points.
Despite very long dives was Maurice Paradis not able to avoid the spoon.
The near pins were for Bob Edwards, Allan Cassin, Maurice Paradis and Mike Malott.
