A field of 23 starters teed it up for our Wednesday competition on a course that never gives away easy points.
Taking out the green jacket today was Mark Effendic (15) with a superb 35 points—an outstanding round in tough conditions.
Second place went to “the machine” Andy Kelleher with 33 points, once again showing his incredible consistency and an almost unfair ability to find every fairway.
Third place, decided on a countback, went to shoeless George Briffa with 30 points.
Fourth place went to Rodri of the Welsh Unemployables, also with 30 points on a countback.
Rounding out the top five was the ever-consistent Soren Hansen with 30 points, just edged out after a back nine of 13.
