Final event of the week was at one of our favourite courses, namely Greenwood, where the new green fee and pro shop will be opening next week. Today, our 7 groups were given nines B and C. Greenwood is normally a very good test and today was no different with the long rough making it even more of a challenge.
John Fallon has been in good form recently and he continued that trend at Greenwood when he came home with 41 points to beat long time leader in the clubhouse, Maurie Denton. Frenchman Patrick Haly has also been in good form recently and his 37 points was enough to take 3rd place. The remaining podium places went to Steve Doris, Lee Smith and Rich Moore.
Just as a heads up, on the evening of the 17th of March, there will be a St. Patrick`s Day bash at The Snug. Although not a golf day, all are invited which is sure to be a night to remember.
