Crystal Bay was our last venue for the month which brought to a close what was a hugely successful month. One of the highlights was meeting up with some old friends from The Links and we look forward to having some challenge matches with them in the near future.
As for the golf, it was Ian Duers who finally came good right at the end of his trip. Ian is renowned for getting lost despite having the best travel apps known to mankind. He certainly didn’t get lost at Crystal Bay as he stormed home with 39 points to narrowly beat Steve Doris on a countback. It was a close-run battle for 3rd and 4th places with another soon to go home, Gordon Tumblety edging out John Fallon on a countback after both came home with 38 points. The final podium place went to Tony Browne with 35 points.
As has been well publicised we are having our Memorial Day for Phil Davies on Monday the 2nd of March. Because of circumstances, our Memorial Day for Phil will be on the same day as The Links have theirs and I am happy to announce that between The Olde Rogues and The Links we will have well over 100 golfers celebrating a true legend of the Pattaya golf scene.

1st Place Ian Duers (17) – 39 c/b
2nd Place Steve Doris (16) – 39
3rd Place Gordon Tumblety (24) – 38 c/b
4th Place John Fallon (29) – 38
5th Place Tony Browne (22) – 35
