The Links Golf Society traveled to Pattavia Golf Course for its mid week round. Once again Pattavia presented lightning fast greens, some challenging layouts and demanding roughs. Conditions were warm and the course presented well.
The once perennial bridesmaid Steve Elles clinched 1st place with 4 birdies but as many double bogeys. He should also needs to thank Tommy Tucker who chose not to play in the comp but ended on 35 points-a winning score. In second place we had Alan Rowland who shook off an unpleasant hangover to card a respectable 33 points with Dave Arataki finishing third with 32.
