New Greenjacket up for grabs
The start of the working week sees the links golf society travel up the highway to the well manicured Bangpakong Riverside golf course.
Only 7 birdies were recorded over the rounds played today,which kept the scores more respective today.
The greenjacket recipient today and displaying the new jacket was the perennial bridesmaid Steve Elles who carded 36 points with 7 missed birdie putts making the rounds some what frustrating for Steve .
A countback decided first place and only a 20 point back nine kept Jeff Routt from winning today .
A countback decided the final prize winners with John Chello with a 20 point back nine defeating Tony Brown and Andy Kelleher with all finishing on 34 points .
We at a bon fair well to 2 links stalwarts in Steve Moxey who has moved to Hua Hin for a more relaxed lifestyle and Selwyn Yates who departs Pattaya to go back to the rat race of Canberra .
