Because of a competition being played at Plutaluang on Friday, we moved our date to Thursday and took advantage of the North and West 9`s which were in excellent condition. Although there had been heavy rain through the night, by the time we arrived at Plutaluang, there was bright sunshine which did make conditions very humid.
The humid conditions did not seem to bother Nigel Henson who came in with 40 points. When Nigel and his marker turned in the cards, Nigel`s marker said that Nigel had scored 41 points which Nigel quickly corrected in true sporting fashion. Just behind Nigel was the inform George Wilson who came in with 39. Russell Blatchford was 3rd with 36. The podium was completed with Dave Boyes taking 4th place beating Phil Mitchell and Mike Ehlert on a countback after all 3 shot 33 points.
